This is a first time event over a weekend in August and so the weather should be good.

The Wheyrigg Hall Hotel is a traditional family owned and managed Country Hotel and Restaurant. The Hotel has a comfortable bar area and restaurant serving good quality traditional food. There is ample parking.

Wheyrigg Hall Hotel is popular with motorcyclists who like somewhere comfortable and good value to stay whilst visiting the Lake District.

Along with the Hotel is a camping site, with facilities such as Toilets, Washbasins, Laundry facilities, Dishwashing facilities and drying facilities. Full use of the Hotel Bar and Restaurant.

The plan

The plan is to arrive on the Friday and to make your own arrangements regarding food. The Hotel serves food all day. On the Saturday, possible ride out for those interested. The details are still in the planning stages. On the Saturday evening it would be nice to have a group meal and then a few drinks and some banter in the bar.  

Sunday end with a ride home.
