Ok, so what's an Irish Cottage weekend? For those that don't know, the Club
simply rents a few holiday cottages, usually off season - these are normal
holiday cottages in a nice rural location and will have all of the amenities
self contained. Single folk are unlikely to get a room to themselves and may
well find themselves sharing a room with one or more others (houses will
have six or seven beds). Weekends like these tend to be pretty relaxed and
casual with a friendly atmosphere where all share and mix - most evenings
are likely to see a party going on in one house or another.....
This weekend will run from Friday, September 29th to Monday,
October 2nd in Killala, County Mayo in Eire - an area with absolutely stunning
scenery, great rides, lovely people and a wonderful atmosphere - if you've never
been to Ireland then you'll love everything about this area ......
We have four cottages for this event which means that numbers
will be strictly limited to around 24 and bookings will be on a first come,
first served basis. I suspect that places will fill rapidly and you may need to be quick to reserve a
place.
We have an 'Event Booking' arranged with Stena which means that
you will be able to book your own ferry crossings direct with Stena at a highly
discounted rate by using a Booking Reference that you will be sent. Exact
details of this won't be available until around the end of July when Jimmy gets
back from his holiday but it should be around �90 (that's Euro's, not Pounds and
is around �60) for a bike and up to two people - you're unlikely to get that
rate elsewhere.
Costs for the weekend will be �30 per head
and full payment must be received within 7 days of your booking or precedence
will be given to others. In order to reserve your place for this Rally, you
must complete ALL sections of the Booking Form below and either include your
PayPal payment reference or mail a cheque for the full amount to the address you
will be given. If you have a preference for rooms (single, double etc) please
list as appropriate and we will do our best to cater for your wishes but there
is no guarantee that we will be able to do so - most singles will be allocated
shared rooms.
You will receive confirmation of your booking via email once
payment is received.
