This is a club day out in a museum with the option of staying at a hotel the night before.

Organised by a member who is stopping out for the night and the museum next day, the event is open to people who want to make their own arrangements to just join us at the museum

Cosford:

the RAF Museum is Open 10-4pm

There are a number of hangers and exhibition spaces, Cold War Exhibition, with all 3 V bombers, Test Flight with one off experimental aircraft, War in the Air fighters and bombers, and Hangar 1, The museum's collection of transport and training aircraft

Cosford Food Facilities:

The restaurant offers hot meals from 12.00pm until 2.30pm prices start from �6.00 for a main meal. There is a selection of sandwiches, jacket potatoes, soup and cakes as well as a selection of beverages.

Cosford Price:

A guied tour is �30 and the club will fund it initially. At lunch we will divide the bill among those there with a maximum of a fiver per rider and �7.50 per rider & pillion. The museum itself is free

Cosford Directions:

Cosford is located with good motorway access from the M6 southbound (Junction 12) via the A5, one mile from junction 3 on the M54 for northbound travelers. The Museum is ten minutes from Telford. There is a large car park on site

On A41, less than 1 mile from junction 3 on the M54

�         From the north leave M6 at junction 12 and follow A5 west

The Museum also has brown and white tourism direction signs labelled 'RAF Museum'.

Arrive Sunday (9th) arrange your own food. There is a pub with in walking distance with food

Ride to Cosford on Monday (10th) probably Lunch, then freestyle until the ride home
