The Club Vice Chairman, Cynthia Milton, left the UK on 31st August 2004 to begin a world of adventure on her R80G/S (The Old Dear). Travelling alone, the aim was to tour the world for a year - two and a half years later she's still out there having the sort of adventures we all dream of........

Crossing Europe and Russia she then shipped to Asia, coming very close to be caught in the worst natural disaster in living memory, then Australia and from there on to South America where a serious accident in the Patagonia virtually totalled the bike and and very nearly herself too - she's currently (March 2007) in the US with the next stop being South Africa...
