Sofa's Sidecar Sunday 2008

Launch Day Meet Mynd Rally 2006 Weekend Meets Killala 2006 Sidecar Saturday Keldy 2007 BMF Show 2007 Swallow Falls Garmisch 2007 Sidecar Sunday 2008 BMF Show 2008

Member, Pete Crane AKA Sofa arranged the opportunity for Club Members to have a go at riding a sidecar outfit on Sunday, 2nd March and what a great day it turned out to be. Quite a few Members turned up and tried theirs hands at riding the selection of Ural sidecar outfits supplied courtesy of Mick Cross of MPC and ably assisted by the C.M.A.

Unfortunately, as it was Mothering Sunday, I had to be away in time for lunch with Mum so I can't report on the whole day but many seemed to be having fun on/in the outfits when I left including our own 'Little Miss Bossy' who was left stranded in a sidecar when it was parked on it's cylinder....

Rather than telling you all about it, I figure a picture is worth a thousand words and below are a few photos and Quicktime Movie clips of Members in action - not too many though as my camera battery died fairly early on and no-one else had a camera.... Hopefully someone will send me a few more photos to add in due course.
